Is refer to the muscles of the hands and
finger that children start to do in their physical development. Also, is refer
to hand manipulation, bilateral integration, and the development of hand and
finger strength.
Is refer to all the physical movement that
children in order to their muscles. Also, control physical growth. Those abilities
that usually acquire in the toddlerhood and the early childhood.
Examples of that: running, walking, drawing
and jump.
It is important to help children in order
they can develop their fine and gross motor skills and they will improve those abilities
through the different stages. Extra information about fine motor skills
that I consider important. References:
Hello JC! I know that at the stage of toodler children start developing the gross motor, But I would like to know at what specific age can parent be worried if the gross motor is not developing in a normal way!
Answering your question, the gross and fine motor skill development that takes place during middle childhood. Typically girls’ progress earlier in fine motor skills and boys might progress earlier in gross motor skills. So do not worry if a toddler cannot do all the movements just help the toddler to start practice in those skills.
Hey! That's interesting! Going as far as the mental developing, the development of movements are in progress as well! While girls enjoy working inside the classroom doing handicrafts, boys enjoy doing activities outside! You know! We as teachers need to be aware what activities are appropiate for girls and boys!
Well I think that we need to use our imagination in order to make an activity for children. Also, we need to imagine how the activity will be according to our students.
You are asking for activities that can have both fine and gross motor skill for boys and girls, I have one that can be useful in order to prove those physical skills. You need balloons with some paper inside of then and you can form two group in your class. You will say that they need to blow up the balloons and look for the paper and there you will have some activities related to fine motor skill and others with gross motor skills and you will have all students to participate in the game and you will see that both boys and girls can practice those physical skill. I hope that I answer your question. Here you have a link with some others activities.
