Fourth class.
Lesson 4.
Topic: My pet.
Grammar: do you have? Yes I do. No I do
not.
Vocabulary: cat, dog, snake, turtle, bird.
Teachers: Juan and Raul.
Students have progressed a lot, they are
comfortable in classes, they show confidence and excited in order to learn
more.Both teacher introduced the class with the
song who do you feel today? They included a new movement for the song, students
have fun practicing the activity. Then, teacher Juan introduce the new
vocabulary with a power point presentation. Students practiced the new
vocabulary and previewed the previous one, they spelled all the words
correctly. Also, students had the opportunity to pass in front and paste the
new vocabulary on the board and they practiced more about the topic. I like the
way that the teacher did the presentation of the target language and the
teacher practiced the grammar with the students.



Then, Raul continued with the practice
stage. He did an activity call sharks are coming. I consider that the activity
was no ok for the students because the directions were not clear and the
students did know what to do, but teacher Raul realized that and changed the
activity immediately. I like that because he realized that he was not doing a
good job. Then, he do another activity it was to paste some picture and write
the name of the pet, I consider was terrific because I liked too much, just he
needed to give clear directions.
Thing that teachers can improve:
Speak loud.
Speak slowly.
Take into account the time.
Think in the objectives of the activity.
Show enthusiasm.
My case of the study did a good job because
she liked all the activities and she told me that she learned new vocabulary. Also, she participate in all the activities
and I star to hear her voice.
